Bio
I grew up in South Carolina. I spent most of my early years going back and forth between football season and baseball season, shuttled back and forth by an understanding family. Athletics gave way to academics as I moved on to medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. My training in adult psychiatry took place at the Hall Institute, which is part of the University of South Carolina system. I served as assistant chief resident and chief resident during my time at Hall Institute. I did my child and adolescent psychiatry training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio (I know, ridiculously long name–imagine all the forms I’ve had to write that on). After that I practiced in several areas to include the following: inner city psychiatry, schools, community psychiatry, and private practice. In the course of my training, I’ve also had a lot of exposure to prison psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and state mental hospitals/institutional psychiatry.
Five years ago, I left psychiatry to stay home with my three kids. I often think it would be nice to go back to work so I can get some rest.
I’ve been writing for about fifteen years. Most of my work has been fantasy or suspense fiction.
Thanks for visiting.

I am the author/publisher of the Red Adept Kindle Book Review Blog.
I have purchased the Kindle edition of your novel, “Whole World Blind”. I would like to take this opportunity to request some comments that I can publish in my blog along with any review I may write. A few days after publishing the review in my blog, I will also publish it on the Amazon book page.
You are welcome to send any comments you wish. Here are a few questions if you are uncertain of what to say:
How did you come up with the title?
How long have you been writing?
What authors have inspired you?
Where did you get the idea for the novel?
Who is your favorite character?
Adding some biographical information is helpful, also.
I cannot give a time for when I will read and review. I read whatever I am in the mood for at the moment. However, having your comments readily available is truly helpful.
I post the author’s comments regardless of the quality (star rating) of the review. This letter in no way reflects the type of review your book will receive. I feel having an author’s comments uncolored by a review is the most fair thing for both authors and readers.
My readers have provided a lot of feedback to show they truly enjoy the commentary provided by authors. Therefore, I really appreciate any participation.
I reserve the right to edit comments for grammar, spelling, format, and appropriateness.
You can view my blog at http://redadeptreviews.com/
Thank you for your consideration,
Lynn
